All of a sudden it appeared that Norfolk was having a re-run of the Eclipse. It happened this morning—note time on the clock—when a thundercloud drifted over. Automatic switches turned on the street lights. Motorists had to turn on car lights. And then the rain poured down, drenching pedestrians like these on Brambleton Avenue near Boush Street. Before long, however, the rain let up and the sun struggled to come through.
