This..........is an important communication especially.

I have called back, erased completely..........all "PK" mechanisms..........assigned to harass certain geographical locations; a handful of people; etc. This includes football teams, basketball teams, and the like.

In short..........I have erased the blackboard clean..........and any vestige of PK effect in the past, attached to anything or anyone at all..........is now gone and erased.

If you have any questions on the above..........let me know.

The Si's, of course..........are currently producing a world drought. Then I will later be allowed to correct the drought condition, indicating in advance to you which areas will be allowed rain. All this, of course..........will take time..........perhaps a year or so.

The only thing left now..........of all my work..........will be my production of a mild earthquake in northern California. No one will be killed or hurt; that selective intelligence is framed within my mental demonstration. Just a shaking up of the area; probably 3-4 on the Richter scale.

In closing..........I do not intend to proceed any further with football teams or pro sports, or anything of the sort. My "blackboard" has been cluttered with dozens of PK targets (psi-force projects)..........but now my blackboard is clean..........all psi force mechanisms withdrawn.

This long overdue letter will attempt to bring you up to date on my activities since last seeing you in Jan. Enclosed you will find copies of my law application for your file; please excuse the errors in my personal one as it was hastily copied by my grandfather's secretary - the original of course was without these.

Two days ago I received word that I was not accepted to Harvard. As you are well aware, my brother and I have been toying with the idea of sailing around the world. The past two days have firmed that decision and although I have not received word from the three other law schools to which I have applied, I have decided to forego that study for at least two years. The trip looks quite possible if my brother and I liquidate our belongings. We anticipate it will

take eight months of training after my separation from the Air Force on 3 Aug of this year to prepare sufficiently let's hope the stock market recovers also to a least the break even point.

I enjoyed the material you have been sending, it is most impressive. The following is the statement you asked for:

Having never met Mr Ted Owens (PK man) other than over the phone, upon arriving in Cape Charles at 6AM on Monday, January 8, 1973, I proceeded to a local hotel for 5 1/2 hours of sleep. It was during this time that a dream occurred including Mr Owens, my two brothers and myself. The locale appeared to be a Texas ranch. Mr Owens was driving my two brothers and I in a circular car along a fence adjacent to a barn and corral. Here we were to be taught

to fly without artificial aid. This was necessitated to escape the charge of two opposing horses. The feeling was very real and quite exciting. Mr Owens in person was as he appeared in the dream. One clarification, I had seen pictures of Mr Owens before meeting him.

This cycle repeated itself every week for four to six weeks at least.

Your letter is amazing. Not only because you survived... but because recently I got another one like it! FIFTEEN TONS fell on one of my Disc People (he was wearing my disc at the time.) He survived... and wrote me "Thank God I had your disc!" Enclosed is xerox copy of his letter.

Joe... did you have my disc? Have you EVER written to me?

As you can see from his letter... his recovery was amazing too, and without pain.

Please let me know as soon as possible if you had my disc. If not... then GET ONE.

You say you would like to know "why you were brought back from the dead". I can answer that, from experience. You have been joined by a UFO entity, in an effort to improve mankind. It is invisible and unseen... yet a part of you. In the future your personality will probably be different than it was... and so will be your thinking. In the future... you will be some kind of a big man... important person... within the framework of mankind.

Background: Am a member of Mensa, the high-IQ organization. My work is being observed by six scientists, three of them internationally known. The reason for this letter: Africa is in a terrible drought. Losing 400 million dollars, I understand. I can end its drought...and put water into its wells, rivers and streams. Have done this thing twice...thoroughly documented...in ending the U.S. six-year drought on the East Coast, and the 2-year killer drought in India some years ago.

I know this is strange...sounds fantastic and unreasonable, especially to someone who has lived in Hollywood and on the West Coast...but nonetheless it is all true.

I wrote to you care of Sage...but they take quite a long while to forward mail, and time is of the essence...for Africa.

Dear Ted:

Thank you for answering my letter, and agreement to privacy. When I try to explain why, I'm sure you will understand.

My grandson Garth was born Feb. 20, 1963 under extremely unfavorable conditions. We took him and kept him until he was 19 mos. old, then his parents took him with them to Washington, a few miles south of Seattle. He became ill and was sick almost the entire time he was with them, Hospitals and constant sickness, then my daughter became so ill herself again, that we were fortunate in rescuing him again. He has lived with us ever since. His father always seemed rather indifferent and hard to know. He is the son of an extremely wealthy and social lion type of man, who disinherited his son for various reasons, especially this scandalous mess of my daughter and her child, (also his sons)

Garth was in terrible condition when we got him back, but after months of lots of love and trying, he finally got back to a normal child.

During the time he was gone I had gotten interested in flying saucers and had sent for your disc and had Garth, Eric (our second grandson) and daughter Marilee and myself added to your scroll.

Right after getting him back, one day he said to me "Grandma, the bugs told me I should (ought to) kill myself." He was only four years old. I couldn't believe it and was shocked at first. Then he told me that several times up there he heard them say that to him, both at home and in the hospital. I have never told anyone about this before, but after analyzing the whole thing it looked more and more like it could be possible that the SI's had really rescued him from a terrible situation, which would take hours of talking to explain.

Last year I had to take care of my bedridden, dying mother as well and she was very difficult woman all her life. This made it hard here in our home at times for Garth and he lost a lot of school, his first year. He seemed slow in his reading and writing. One day he came home from school with a happy grin on his face and came in the kitchen and said "Look grandma I can write something. He wrote SI several times. I asked him where he got that and he shrugged his shoulders and said, it just came to him, how too.

A year ago last December during my sleep I could feel a hurting on the upper side of right side of my head. I was laying on the left side and it woke me up. I was astonished to see a thin ray of electric type fire out of the corner of my eye and quickly jerked my head back and the ray that had been hitting my head hit the pillow right past.

This is familiar!

my eyes and nose, then disappeared. My room was totally dark. There was no possibility of it coming in a window. It was aimed directly downward onto my bed. A friend of mine brushed that aside as some sort of psychic phenomena of no import, but I have never quite been able too. It hurt, but didn't burn visibly.

I haven't wanted to tell about these things as Garths future seems to always be hanging in jeopardy. The wealthy grandfather has been helping his son (Garths father) finished paying for his college, got his teeth fixed, bought him nice suits, golfing equipment and etc. also they have lunch every couple of weeks and no one knows what they are planning on doing. So far, neither my daughter or Garth have met him. He did buy a jacket for Garth this last Xmas. That is all in all these years. John has told Bernice that we are more or less all beneath his royal dignity!

a Supervisor in one of State Welfare departments and had to be at work Mon. He stayed for week with his parents. On Tues the third day he was there, he accidentally slammed the car door on his finger, had to go to Hosp. for stitches. I questioned him closely about it when he got home and he said he felt like something made it happen. He and his father were getting out of the car. They were alone together. This increased his fear up there. Nothing one can pinpoint.

Last week I was holding your letter in my hand for quite a while, trying to think how to get my situation down on paper to you. The coffee started boiling over and I took a small towel to push it off from the burner all of a sudden it was afire. It scorched me a bit and I threw it on floor and stomped it out. Later in

the day when I went in the bed room I happened to look in the mirror and there on the lower part of my blouse was a nearly perfect J burned out of my new blouse. about an inch high

Garth now tells me that his daddy burned his fingers with matches the following morning. So as I'm suspicious about things, anyhow, I felt that John is only J in family. What can all of this mean?

Sounds like a warning of danger for John.

Two years ago this coming summer we were down at Springfield, Ore. visiting my brother and family (brother has bad heart) inoperable. We went for a ride up in Cascade mts. to a place called Fish Lake. On the way home I was startled to see a home made type of pickup canopy pull out in front of us from a lonely mt. side road. It had your lightning sign on its red painted side.

Dear Dorothy:

Yes...the Si's are definitely protecting you and yours.

Your letter is very intelligently written and composed...and since I have had hundreds and hundreds of other disc-people reports...I can tell you absolutely that the Si's have been, and are, very much with you. To help you and guide you and yours.

There is no doubt in my mind...that they have helped Garth considerably. And he knows it...deep down.

The ray which hit your head...is EXACTLY what happened to me in Maine some years ago! We were sleeping in a pitch dark room in a lodge...no way for light to get in...and my wife awoke in the night and saw a bright ray of light NEAR MY HEAD in the darkness! Some nights later I awoke in the night and saw several rays of light, shafts of light...moving about our room. We were in the dark woods...no cars, no way for light to get into our bedroom. And...I have had other disc-people report this same thing happening...the hurting in the upper right side of their head. MY WIFE HAD THE SAME HURTING IN HER HEAD. What it is...the Si's are "operating" on your brain, improving it...and perhaps programming it for time ahead. Excellent!

The "J" sounds like a Si warning...that danger might lie ahead for John in some way; or some kind of difficulty. Keep that to yourself.

Your report on the pickup truck camper having my Si symbol on its side...is fascinating! Actually, the symbol is the Si code sign for me, PK Man...and anyone wearing it on them is their friend, and is to be helped. Too bad you didn't talk to the people in that camper. They might have been Si's!

Fuel Shortage Feared If Winter Is Severe

A House Small Business Subcommittee warned of possible shortages of gasoline and fuel oil if the coming winter is "severely cold."

The subcommittee released a report on recent hearings in which witnesses said present shortages already had created a "gray market" for gasoline and fuel oil which could easily evolve into a "black market" if the situation worsens.

The panel, headed by Rep. Neal Smith (D., Iowa), said in its report:

"If the United States or any area of it experiences a severe winter, many independent distributors may be unable to obtain sufficient fuel to operate their businesses, heat their homes and propel their automobiles."

"Even if sufficient fuel is available," the report added, "the cost of producing it will increase and the increased cost will either have to be borne by the small businessman or passed on to the consumer."

It's Spring Again-After Snowless Winter

Warming Trend Is Predicted for This Week

When spring officially arrives at 1:13 P. M. this afternoon, Philadelphia will have logged an interesting "first" - its first winter with no measurable amounts of snow.

"We had days with traces of snow," said a spokesman for the National Weather Service at International Airport. "But we had no measurable falls all winter. That's a record."

Spring will make its debut in what the service predicts will be a "typical March day," with high temperatures in the mid-40s, some sun and a bit of a breeze.

We've already had a couple of tastes of "spring weather," in the last two weekends. Warm temperatures and an invigorating breeze brought the racing shells back to the Schuylkill and optimism to minds dulled with the dreary winter-but-not-winter of the last several months.

THE WEATHER SERVICE says that both weekends represented "warm snaps," and the chilly, windy weather that moved in on Sunday is fairly typical for the time of year. Some thunderstorms - in the country, a sure sign of spring - and the few flakes that sifted down on Sunday may have represented the area's last indifferent flirtation with snow this year, weather men said.

A warming trend is in the wings, so that a massive outbreak of true spring fever could strike later this week.

Of course, to the astrology minded, today is not only the beginning of spring, it's also the first day of the ascendency of Aries.

Autumn fell to record springlike weather Tuesday, and gardeners, golfers, strollers, and sailors blossomed in Norfolk's 73-degree sunshine. It was the warmest Dec. 5 in 47 years, but showers are likely today and much cooler air is due by Thursday. As the East basked, the West "brrrred" in heavy snow and temperatures as low as 27 below zero in Wyoming and 22 below in South Dakota and Utah. Local weather story is on Page A3.

A Big White Blanket Keeps the South Cool

The South's worst snowstorm in a century paralyzed the Carolinas and Virginia Sunday. Georgia, hit hard Saturday, began thawing out.

Two deaths were attributed to the storm. Thousands of persons, including stranded Northern tourists on their way to Florida, were stranded over the weekend.

Hundreds of motorists were stranded in North Carolina in up to 11 inches of snow. Saturday night and spent the night in armories, churches, school auditoriums, and homes.

In Georgia, up to 13 inches of snow still covered the cotton and peanut fields, but about 1,000 persons who had been stranded the last two nights were able to continue their trips.

The storm moved northwards along the Atlantic coast after striking central Georgia, and parts of Alabama, Mississippi, northern Florida, and Louisiana.

"We're doing everything we can to weather a storm that has never been seen before in middle Georgia," said Gov. Jimmy Carter, a peanut farmer whose home in Plains, Ga. was buried under two feet of snow. Carter toured the stricken area - a 200-mile swath through the middle of the state - in a National Guard helicopter Saturday.

About 500 National Guard volunteers, driving tracked vehicles and four-wheel-drive trucks and jeeps, worked around the clock to ferry stranded motorists to safety in Georgia and move essential workers to their jobs at hospitals, police stations, and other emergency facilities. A Guard official said nearly 10,000 such missions were run.

Both deaths attributed to the storm were of motorists whose cars skidded on ice.

The North Carolina snowfall "has to be a record," said forecaster Bruce Cheatham in Raleigh, N. C. "We don't have any records but I don't remember a snowfall like that."

Sled sales stalled

DC goes all winter without snow

Sled sales are poor in Washington, D.C.

Today brought a new record for the longest the city has gone without snow accumulation - all winter.

There have been some flurries, but nothing has stayed on the ground for any length of time, making motorists happy.

But sled salesmen are unhappy. John Gray, public relations director for a local toy store chain, has issued a statement saying sales are down 50 per cent.

"When it doesn't snow, we don't sell sleds," he complained.

Sledders could take heart, for in the only other two years Washington was without snow, the long late February snowfalls dropped more than two feet on the capital.

However, sledders in the upper Mississippi Valley and the Great Lakes region were getting snow early today. Northerly winds as high as 35 miles per hour brought Arctic air to the area and caused some blowing and drifting snow.

Rain showers and thunderstorms dumped large amounts of rain over the lower Mississippi Valley. A flash flood warning was in effect for portions of east-central Mississippi.

A tornado warning was in effect for Jackson County, Miss., and Mobile County, Ala. A funnel cloud was sighted near Biloxi, Miss., early today.

An approaching Pacific front brought increasing cloudiness to the Pacific coast. Rain began to fall over northern California.

World Drought

Meat Is Scarce In Venezuela 3/25/73

CARACAS (UPI) - Drought and the effective government crackdown on cattle smuggling has resulted in an acute shortage of meat in Venezuela, the Agriculture Ministry reported Thursday.

Annual deficit of fresh beef internally is some 60,000 tons, which until recently entered the country illegally. However, government countermeasures have effectively halted activities of smugglers.

The ministry described the current drought as the worst in Venezuela in 20 years, and said it has resulted in reducing the weight of cattle. The ministry said if the beef shortage continued, the country would have to resort to imports to meet internal demand. Phila Inq.

A Dire World Drought Threat of Famine NY Times

NEW DELHI - The rains did not come plentifully enough last summer and India waits anxiously for the next monsoon season, June to September. "A bad monsoon this year means famine," a Western farm expert here said.

India, always on the verge of hunger, always at the whim of nature, faces a critical food shortage. After a row of four good monsoons, parts of the country were struck by two seasons of erratic and poor rainfall. In such northwestern states as Maharashtra, Gujerat and Rajasthan, where the average rainfall is 20 to 30 inches a year, only 10 inches of rain fell in 1971, only eight inches in 1972.

"It was the same pattern all over Asia," said T. P. Singh, Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture. "There was a general inadequacy of rainfall last year in China, Thailand, Burma, many countries." Yet India alone seems to be facing the crisis on a mammoth scale. The reasons are many: a population growing by 13 million each year; shrinkage of food stocks to meet such emergencies; fertilizer shortages, electricity blackouts, poor irrigation facilities and other similar factors that made the crop failure worse than it otherwise would have been.

The irony is that in the 12-month period of July 1, 1970 to June 30, 1971 Indian farmers produced 107.8 million tons of food grains - at least three million tons more than had been expected. The buoyant Government decided to fulfill its promise to halt food grain imports from the United States, an ego-boost to a nation embarrassed by its perennially needy condition.

Now, let down by nature, India is expected to produce only 100 million tons of foodgrain in the 1972-73 farm year, nowhere near enough to feed her people, and is buying two million tons, mostly from the United States. And India may be in the market for more.

The human implications are ghastly. In a small village in Gujerat, the mother of a 3-year-old boy shrieked at an Indian journalist: "Why don't you take his photograph? He has not seen or tasted sugar in his life." In Rajasthan, thousands of villagers are reported to be eating one meal every two days, and some are said to be on the verge of starvation. In Maharashtra, many villages are without drinking water and thousands of cattle have perished. In Bombay, villagers pour in from the drought-stricken farming areas nearby, swelling the port's population of pavement dwellers, now at about 100,000. "Please, please," a barefoot boy whispers as he scampers with his mother toward a tourist. "Hungry! Food!"

Please read my letter to scientists, lawyers, etc., of November 12, 1971, enclosed. Next my letter of August 9, 1972, enclosed. Then my letter of August 10, 1972, enclosed. And finally...the article which has just come forth, written by Joseph Goodavage for Sage magazine.

In the Nov. 12, 1971, letter, note that I say: "My demonstration will be in the skies and heavens overlooking our earth...and even in outer space beyond our earth."

Note in the newsclip enclosed of August 9, 1972, the writer says of the sun: "...Another eruption occurred Monday in an unexpected series of solar phenomena that a scientist at Boulder, Colorado, said was "sort of like getting snow in Atlanta in July." (Note: it recently just DID snow in parts of the south for the first time in 100 years. Ted.)

Now, in this Sage article...note that it says: "...Even more ominously from our viewpoint, new studies indicate that our Sun is beginning to exhibit signs of instability!!"

"When an UNPRECEDENTED solar storm passed OSO-7 on Aug. 7, 1972, the chief of solar physics for NASA reported that the solar eruption released more energy in one hour...then the U.S. could consume in 100 million years. By the time the incredibly solar wind from this storm rocked Pioneer 10 on its voyage to Jupiter (at a distance of 204 million miles from the Sun), the temperature of its gas particles had increased to about two million degrees Fahrenheit -- 20 TIMES HIGHER THAN NORMAL..........Astronomers and physicists are deeply concerned about this turn of events on the Sun."

All right. This was my work and doing. Note my letters to you of August 9 and August 10, 1972 (and remember that the solar storm passed OSO-7 on August 7, 1972.) BEFORE this phenomenon took place...as I told you in a previous contact letter...I had signalled the Si's TO USE THE SUN. Actually...the four giant Si's were to reflect the sun's rays down onto earth...but the mechanism involved in this...I am positive...has caused the phenomena written about in this Sage article.

The article says: "In early August 1972 (the area of time in which I set in motion the giant UFO's to reflect the sun's rays onto earth)....the Sun erupted in a violent series of flares and major magnetic storms. Astronomers classified them as the most severe ever recorded...Something strange and foreboding does seem to be happening to the Sun, and it baffles the world's leading scientists. NOTHING IN ASTRONOMY OR ASTROPHYSICS PROVIDES A SOLID CLUE TO THE SUN'S UNPRECEDENTED OUTBURST OF RADIO WAVE BROADCASTS AND X-RAYS." "All we know right now," says American astronomer Giacconi, "is that something very weird is going on." "The eruption of our normally quiet Sun on August 7th was the most severe ever recorded....this was a most extraordinary solar event. The August 7th flare ran the X-ray sensors right off the scale!"

Gentlemen...someone had better tell Giacconi, Chi Chao Wu, Seaquist, Kronberg and the other astronomers...about Ted Owens (PK Men). I told you all in 1971 I would make such a demonstration; and in July and August of 1972, carried it out! But...IT IS FAR FROM OVER. As I've told you...there will be a world drought.
